Tahlee Bible College is situated on the shores of beautiful Port Stephens, surrounded by bushland, with our own private Prayer Mountain. Kangaroos graze around our houses, while dolphins occasionally swim past our lecture rooms and offices. This provides an atmosphere ideal for studying and meditating on God’s word, away from the distractions and busyness of city life. But it is still within access to plenty of ministry opportunities in the large city of Newcastle, as well as local rural towns.

The bush and mountain on the property provides plenty of space for bushwalking and personal meditation.

For the practical type of person, there are mechanical and carpentry workshops onsite and for the boating enthusiast, a launching ramp gives access to Port Stephens. The College also has regular combined social activities.

Self-contained accommodation is provided for married couples and students with families.  Family accommodation varies in size, from two to four bedrooms, and ranges from older-style timber dwellings to modern two-storey brick town houses.

Buses run to local government primary and high schools and Christian schools. School students also have access to the College library and internet at local rates. If there are sufficient numbers, a registered pre-school will operate on the property.

The College has ample area for children to play, with a football field, volleyball court, tidal swimming pool and lots of open space. There are also local sporting clubs that can be used and a surf beach just 20 minutes away.
