Overview of Courses

Training for Christian Growth, Ministry & Mission

Certificate IV in Christian Ministry

Commencing in 2009
  • 1 year full time, or part-time equivalent.
  • VETAB accredited through the ACOM Training Network.
  • Austudy available.    
  • Individual subjects can be taken in two to three week blocks in residence.
  • Subjects can be taught as short intensives at your church.

Get a basic understanding of the Bible and how it applies to your personal life and relationships, service in your local church and witness in the world.

The Bible College that comes to you!
We are flexible!

We can:
  • Teach individual topics/subjects (primarily of a biblical and ministry nature) of interest to your church. 
  • Design an ongoing programme to help your people develop ministry skills and their understanding of the Bible.
  • Assist in your church’s existing Bible teaching and ministry training programme.
  • Travel - Distance is not a problem!  We are prepared to come to you, whether your location is rural, regional or urban.
A short intensive course in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.

A new course is being developed to be offered from second semester 2008.

Holiday English Camps

  • Three to four weeks
  • Non-accredited
  • Overseas students can see some of Australia and improve their English

English Courses

  • Ten weeks
  • Non-accredited course
  • Available for all adults from a non-English speaking background, including those visiting Australia on tourist or working holiday visas


Learn English

Certificates III and IV in English Proficiency
(Accredited courses)
Learn English while living in a Christian community and acquire skills which will offer you a range of further study and career opportunities.

Special Studies

Occasionally specialised topics are offered at Tahlee as seminars and workshops which are also open to the general public. Examples of such topics have been: Church Planting, Connecting with Children and Youth, Evangelism, Puppetry, Story telling, Mentoring, Permaculture etc.


Christian Growth Courses

Bible book studies, topics on Christian growth and relationships, Christian ministry and mission can be taught at your church or group.
