nationally accredited training aims to provide TESOL skills to
industry trainers, community aid workers and volunteers dealing with
speakers of other languages in Australia and overseas.

unique focus is on teaching conversation and listening skills to
English learners
Teaching
writing, reading, grammar and vocabulary is also thoroughly
addressed.

course has been designed for those who wish to develop a Christian
ministry through teaching English.
The course is offered in two modes: 6 weeks intensive mode, and combination distance learning.

churches and individuals to work in cross cultural ministries in
Australia and overseas.

Commitment: 250 hours
Course offered in two modes:
Option 1. &mdash 6 Weeks Intensive at Tahlee
11th January - 20th February, 2010, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Includes lectures, practice teaching, assessment
Option 2. &mdash Combination Distance Learning
11th - 23rd January, 2010 at Tahlee
Two weeks of lectures, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Tahlee Bible College.
Assessment and practice teaching by distance with mentoring (must be computer literate)
5th - 10th April, 2010 at Tahlee
One week of lectures, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Tahlee Bible College
Cost
Course: $1750
Accommodation
and food at Tahlee: $150 per person per week (shared accommodation)
Refundable
rental bond: $100
There could be some additional costs such as travel to Newcastle for practice teaching if needed, but these will be kept to a minimum
